THE NEXT WEBSITE!

I hope you like the new site. In some ways it is a lot simpler. Fewer buttons, fewer submenus, not a lot of extra VISUAL bells and whistles. In other ways, it affords a whole lot more power options that benefit YOU, as well as ME!

For example:

1) Shopping cart. The biggest positive of all (I hope), and that is the addition of an integrated shopping cart and the ability to take all major credit cards. Don't have a PayPal account? No problem! Sign up for an account (again, VERY easy) and use that Visa! That information will be saved for future orders. Being that I'm a small press, I have to at this point designate this added benefit a "trial."  If it's not adding any significant amount of orders, I may go back to a "just Paypal" system.

2) Articles such as this one. Articles are published on the website about what's new and shiny at Fairwood, plus commentary on the publishing industry, writing, and the like. They won't necessarily always be by me.

3) Catalog. I think you'll like the new look for the book catalog. You'll be able to see that EVERY book is marked down from the cover price, and clicking on the cover image will give you a nice clear look at the cover. It's easy to get those books in your shopping cart, too.

4) Printable and Order Code Coupons! (Save big bucks.) Electronic Downloads! (Pssst...there's an available PDF of the last issue of Talebones for just $3.00)

I'll keep you up to date in the NEWS section with short tidbits as news happens. Articles, when about newsy things, will be a little more thorough, but will not be published (as of now) on any regular schedule.

So look around, browse the store, and while you're at it, why not pick up or preorder a book?
